Human Centipede 2' Trailer Slithers Online
Director Tom Six hasn't let Facebook death threats and other shenanigans stop him from creating a sequel to one of this year's most interesting and unsettling movies, 'The Human Centipede.' The film follows two young, American girls who are kidnapped by a German surgeon -- and along with a Japanese man, are surgically transformed into a gory centipede-like abomination.
For those of you not totally distracted by the ass to mouth aspect of the film, you may have noticed that Six gave it a subtitle -- 'First Sequence' -- promising audiences a sequel. That time has finally arrived and IFC has delivered the first details surrounding this grotesque upcoming feature.
'The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence)' will steer away from any "realism" (the original was touted as being 100 percent medically accurate) and instead promises to be "pretty nasty" according to Six. "I had so many ideas that I couldn't fit them all in the movie," the director told IFC. "I wanted the audience to get used to this crazy centipede. Now, in 'Part 2,' I can use all my ideas. So everything is in it this time. I don't hold back anything." He also compared part one to 'My Little Pony' if that tells you anything.
This time around, Six is putting up 12 victims on the slab versus three -- and he's brought along a new "doctor" to perform his hideous experiment ... someone named Martin. Who might Martin be? Six isn't saying, but since he's promising this will be the "sickest movie of all-time," so anything is possible. 'The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence)' isn't due out until 2011, but the morbidly curious can get their first peek at what Six has in the works by checking out the teaser trailer below.
