Cruise, Nicholson reuniting for 'El Presidente

Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson could potentially reunite for El Presidente.

The pair, who faced off in Rob Reiner's 1992 drama A Few Good Men, are being lined up to star in the Warner Bros action-comedy, reports the Los Angeles Times.

Cruise would play a secret service agent assigned to protect Nicholson's bumbling former president. In Dan Goor's script, the duo are forced to go on the run together when a threat is made against the president's life.

Courtroom drama A Few Good Men, based on Aaron Sorkin's play, grossed more than $240 million at the worldwide box office and picked up four Oscar nominations, including a 'Supporting Actor' nod for Nicholson's Col. Nathan R. Jessep.
